The Fishers AgriPark is home to a 9+ acre garden dedicated to growing fresh produce. Each year, Fishers Parks staff begins planting in early spring, starting first with cold hardy vegetables like kohlrabi, greens, lettuce, cabbage, kale, and more, before planting in the high tunnel.
Each row of produce is started from seed or bulb from in a raised bed - a built-up row covered in thick, black plastic for weed control with a dedicated irrigation line for daily watering.
