Nick Snyder

Nick Snyder

Makerspace Manager

Nick is a designer and maker with extensive experience in commercial and residential woodworking and fabrication. Prior to pursuing his passion for the trades, Nick studied sustainable design and economics at IUPUI and worked for a decade in corporate leadership. Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, exploring the great outdoors, and playing bass for several local bands.

Justin

Justin graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Theater Design and Technology. Justin has experience in woodwork, metalwork, and CNC from years of designing and fabricating sets for organizations at the Actors Theater of Louisville, Carolina Ballet, and Cirque du Soleil. Justin recently moved to Indiana and enjoys spending time with his wife and new baby.

Daniel

Daniel Shepherd

Staff Member

Daniel Shepherd is a California transplant who was drawn to Indy by the racing industry. While working toward a degree in motorsports engineering at IUPUI, Daniel started a 3D printing and design engineering business to help hone his skills and build a body of work. Daniel enjoys putting his knowledge and experience to work at Fishers Maker Playground to help members bring their ideas to life.

Cassy Coha

Staff Member

Cassy Coha is a graduate of Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, focusing on Furniture Design and Sculpture. She enjoys experimenting with functional design involving different materials - primarily focusing on fiber, wood, acrylic, and metals. She also loves following the local music scene and has been involved in Girls Rock! Indianapolis for the past six years. Cassy is excited to be a part of the Maker Playground and is looking forward to building a relationship with the Fishers maker community! 

Al Imran

Staff Member

Al is an Indianapolis native with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree focused on Furniture Design from Herron School of Art and Design. After her undergraduate program she spent five years working alongside a variety of local furniture makers and artists to build custom furniture and public art for the community. During the pandemic she decided to take a break from making saw dust to start making silver dust and teach herself how to fabricate silver jewelry. Now Al spends most of her free time in her home studio making jewelry for her small business. Outside of being a maker, she enjoys going to concerts, spending time with her partner, Patrick, and her cat, Jasper.

Steve Moore is from Illinois where he went to community college at College of DuPage in Illinois and finished at Herron School of Art and Design where he received his Bachelors in Fine Arts specializing in Sculpture with a minor in Art History. Steve held a position as a fabrication assistant where he built a skate bowl for Supreme and installed a light-up sculpture made of re-purposed basketball flooring at Indianapolis Hyatt Place. Steve is  looking forward to getting familiar with the Maker Playground and all of the fun equipment!
