Road Closures

116th Street is currently closed from east of Municipal Drive to west of Maple Street for the construction of the Nickel Plate Trail pedestrian tunnel beneath 116th Street. See the detour map and learn more here.

There will be additional event closures from Wednesday June 23 through Saturday, June 26. See the updated event detour map and find details on daily closures below.

Friday, June 25
  • Continue parking restrictions around Municipal Drive and surrounding surface lots (north and south City Services and Fire lots). Garages remain open.
Saturday, June 26
  • 116th closures will begin at 12:30pm. Drivers should then use Fishers Center Dr.
  • Holland Park is open for walk-ins until 8 pm, but parking lot will be closed all day for fireworks launch that evening. Holland Park will be closed during the fireworks show and is not a viewing area. 
  • Road closures are in effect all day on East Municipal Drive and around Central Green. The west side is open from Fishers Center Drive to Lantern Road.
  • North Street will remain open until Municipal Drive. 
  • Access to the Switch Garage is restricted for public and open for residents with hangtag and those with a Spark!Fishers Switch Garage parking pass. Access available from North Street entrance only. 
  • Access to The Depot Garage is restricted for public and open only for Depot residents and businesses with parking tags/fobs (enter/exit from Fishers Center Drive). 
  • The Police Department Garage is open for ADA parking and can be accessed via Lantern Road entrance only (north side of Municipal Drive). 
  • Parade closures begin at 6 p.m. and should reopen around 9 p.m. (should use 106th Street for thru traffic; avoid area north of 116th Street). A route map is available here. Routes include: 
    • Lantern Road between Commercial Drive and Municipal Drive 
    • West Municipal Drive to 116th Street 
    • 116th Street between Municipal Drive and Holland Drive 
    • Holland Drive between 116th Street and Ellipse Parkway 
    • East Ellipse Parkway between Holland Drive and Sunblest Boulevard 

On Saturday, Spark!Fishers attendees, volunteers, and staff are encouraged to park at the Forum Credit Union Headquarters (11313 USA Parkway) and take the free event shuttle. Shuttles will run regularly beginning Saturday at 1:30 p.m. through the end of the event. 

Surface lots around Municipal Drive will be not be available to Spark!Fishers guestsThe Depot and Switch parking garages are reserved for residents and those with valid Spark!Fishers parking passes. Public parking is available in The Edge and Spark Apartments garage. ADA parking is available at the Fishers Police Department (4 Municipal Drive). Learn more.
